What is a good application?

Consider this occasion as the first review process of the application. Your application is commented by the other attendees of the workshop. We will all focus on the issue “what makes a good application?” Are there formalities that have to be addressed? Are there tricks that have proven successful? In what way do you have to write in order to get your points out? And towards what audience? Considerable time is given to each individual application.
